In January and February, Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative visited nearly 350 students at seven different schools/organizations throughout the TWEC service area for the annual electrical safety demonstrations.
Safety is one of TWEC’s values and educating students on how to be safe and smart around electricity is important. This year, TWEC’s Marketing and Communications Specialist Kallie Baxter co-presented the safety demonstration with Staking Technician Luke Wilhelmi, and lineworkers Jason “Norm” Ohrmundt, Josh Byman, and Brady Erickson.
There are many different scenarios given in the safety demonstrations, our team here at Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative wants everyone to be safe around electricity. Would you know what to do if your vehicle crashed into a utility pole? Watch an informational video below.
