Financial Information

The board of directors and staff and Todd-Wadena strive to provide a high level of service at the lowest possible cost. We encourage members to take advantage of the cooperative’s programs and services that help you save energy and money.

And remember, we are a local utility, working and living right here in the community, where we are accessible to you. Call or stop in any time you have a question or concern about your energy bill or our services.

Billing

Your Todd-Wadena bills are mailed on or about the 10th of the month, and are due on the 20th (or the next business day). A penalty of $1.00 or 1.5%, whichever is greater, is assessed for late payments. Each member is allowed one late payment without penalty each year. If a payment is not received by the net billing period, the following bill will provide the steps necessary to avoid disconnection of service and associated disconnect/reconnect fees.

Capital Credits

Cooperatives are non-profit businesses organized by and for the people they serve. So any profits are allocated to special accounts set up for each member. These allocations are pro-rated among the membership according to patronage – the more energy you purchased during the year, the bigger  your share of the margins. (Click for more)
